Our Story

Located in Old Kensington, an evolving neighborhood, Es Cafe Lounge is more than just a coffee shop—we're a community hub, a creative space, and a testament to passion, perseverance, and a lifelong love for coffee.

Back in 2019, Ieisha, a mom with deep roots in the Black community, turned her childhood love of coffee into something special - Es Cafe Lounge.

For Ieisha, coffee was never just about the caffeine kick. It was the smell that filled the kitchen, the warmth of a mug on a cold morning, and those long chats with friends over a steaming cup.

As her neighborhood started changing fast - you know how it goes with gentrification - Ieisha saw a chance to make a stand. She thought, "Why not create a place that feels like home for everyone?" So Es Cafe Lounge became more than just a spot for a great coffee. It's where folks from all walks of life can come together, feel welcome, and maybe make a new friend or two.

Our Coffee

We take pride in sourcing beans from small-batch roasters who prioritize ethical partnerships with farmers. Our baristas are trained in the art and science of coffee, ensuring each cup is a testament to their skill and passion.

Signature Drink: Try our "Midnight Oil" - a smooth, dark roast infused with a hint of cardamom and topped with house-made vanilla cream.
